Joe Black (Producer / Game Master)
Joe Black is the creative engine behind Adventures in the Black. As both the producer and game master, he blends over a decade of tabletop experience with a deep love for Afrofantasy, Afrofuturism, and narrative-driven play. Whether guiding players through ancient prophecies or neon-lit star systems, Joe’s worldbuilding style is immersive, cinematic, and rooted in cultural storytelling. With 10+ years of rolling dice and telling stories, he’s the architect of every twist, revelation, and reckoning that unfolds across the realms.
Liz Yang (Performer / Ellewyn Rosevine)
Liz Yang is a Christian author, full-time database developer, wife and mother of five who brings both structure and spirit to the world of fantasy storytelling. With a heart rooted in faith and a mind sharpened by code, she crafts characters who wrestle with legacy, justice, and grace. As the voice behind Ellewyn Rosevine—a noble-born elf healer navigating duty, grief, and sacred defiance—Liz draws on her own values of discipline, tradition, and redemptive purpose. Whether writing novels, raising warriors, or querying data, her mission remains the same: to build worlds where light overcomes darkness
Bryan Yang (Performer/ Draidg Enferno)
Bryan Yang is a quiet soul with a chaotic streak—a husband, father of five, and IT service desk analyst by day, and a headstrong high elf by night. As Arcrai, Bryan plays with a mix of spontaneous recklessness—often charging into battle first and stopping to plan later. Fortunately, his quick thinking and unexpected bursts of wisdom tend to save the day. Off the battlefield, he’s a gentle tinkerer who loves building computers, fixing cars, and gaming late into the night. Whether in life or in-game, Bryan is the lovable wildcard—always unpredictable, always kind, and always rolling for initiative
